Loved the photos – thanks for posting! That was quite a lunch for 10 Euro!! I haven’t noticed this chain before – are they all over Paris or in a smaller area? Just can’t get over all that snow! Wouldn’t have liked to be there – I think I would have gone home!! LOL!!

Hi Sandy. yes La Broiche Doree, the cafe chain they seem to be pretty common. This was opposite Hotel de VIlle. Lots of French workers with luncheon vouchers. Very good value for money and tasty too. I will be eating there again.
I thought you were used to snow there in Iowa!

Yes, I am used to snow – and don’t like it one bit – which is why I surely wouldn’t want to go on a trip where there was more snow!!! LOL!! I do love Paris, as you know – but, wouldn’t want to be there with that much snow!!

Thanks for your comments Ella. I am no photographer, I just use my iphone. I see what I want tophotograph but it never turns out as I want. Occasionally I get a shot I really like.
Now I look at the pictures of Parx de Vilette I think “Mmm, thats not bad.!”

Why isn’t there a caption with an explanation about the dessert in the glass?! 😉 I spotted a single spoon. Was it yours…or Lizzie’s? It almost looks like an English trifle, or perhaps that’s because the image is so small on my iphone.

Sorry I will put one on. This was the only saving grace in the vegetarian restaurant. Lizzies desert, was delicious. we were not sure wht was in it but it was like a trifle with fruit, angelica and custard, but also seemed to have spinach in it! No I didn’t have any of it, She kept uncvering different layers.
