0700h.

Today ( Friday)   at 0930h we have an appointment with the Surgeon  and Medic to discuss the plan of care.

Yesterday the haematologist was very optimistic.  Michaels blood picture is acceptable for surgery after an increase in his antiviral drug regime..

To distract me from my anxiety, I am re -living some of my Paris memories..

On our last morning in Paris we spent some time in the Jardins du Luxembourg nearby.

Suddenly spring had arrived and the gardens were looking wonderful and green.  The spring flowers and blossom were just beginning to peep their heads out to see if it was safe to come out.

On the railings of the Gardens there is often a photographic display.  At present it shows historical pictures of the Tour de France.  As a cyclist I found them fascinating.

This was the race going through the Bois de Bolougne in the 1920’s. Amazing how they got through the crowd!

I love this picture. The riders must have just stopped and were splashing about in the water
