I seem to have bloggers block.  A condition characterised by a compete inability of people like myself,( who for some unexplained reason feel thy have to put their thoughts on t’internet often)  to find some inspiration.

Maybe this is becuase I returned to work to do a three day stint, when all I do is work eat and sleep, so my life is rather boring for a few days.

, After the most wonderful holiday , and visit to my son, I returned to work in a post Paris euphoric state,  and the petty, politics,personalities, frustrations, beurocracy, and general inefficiencies of any place of work,  hit me in the face, so within 20 minutes I had a headache!

Don’t get me wrong, I know how lucky I am to have a job in this current economic crisis, and I am very lucky to have a job I love, which is rewarding on so many levels, but please just leave me alone!  I cannot work up any enthusiasm for corporate jargon,

Brainstorming=management have run out of ideas folks.
challenge=problem
restructuring=sacking people
Sustainable=??
Outside the box=?? 
Sacred cow=something that cannot be changed
Uncomfortable decisions= an excuse to be a complete arsehole, and decide who to sack. (An opportunity to change the sacred cow.)
Application of lean principles=sacking people
Vision=what it will look like after we sack people
Future state= a time when all these unrealistic plans come true, so we will act as if we are in a future state now,  without the resources to support it, to the frustration of the current workforce.
elearning.…training courses you should get time off to, do but there are not enough staff to give you time off, so they kindly put them online for you to do.  When?
Email....something the management think the front line workers have time to check!

So that is my moan for the day, maybe now I have got it off my chest the block will lift.
