You live and learn…the taxi driver ripped us offf!….always ask the price, I read that on trip advisor.
We tried to walk through the Old Town to Kalamaja, a district just north of the old town, on Saturday morning but there were so many inconsiderate cruise tours walking around, that would not let us pass, so we got into a taxi in frustration.
Still, we know next time. The local “festival” was a bit of a craft fair, car boot sale and traditional entertainment display and it was nice to see the locals and not something put on for the tourists.
